My few bags are packed, the house is tidy, and it's almost time to hit the road. I'll be in Sacramento until Sunday night, when I'll return to a quiet house--the theme of the summer. Somehow or another, I got used to having people around. I'm sure I'll get used to having no people and three needy cats, and will take to walking around naked and doing all of those vulgar things that people do when nobody else is watching.

Oh well. In any case, as I told annikusrex, I'll get a lot of reading done.
