rebeccmeisterNormally, I prefer to embed photos directly here, so you don't have to click around to view or comment on them (though there's always the option of clicking over to view larger versions). However, there are a lot of photos from Korea, and I've only posted them just now because I woke up at 1 am due to my lovely friend jet lag. I'm going to try and get another hour of sleep before I have to get up to catch the plane here in Seattle, so for those who want to check out photos sooner rather than later, here's a link to the overall gallery:

I wound up organizing things by theme, as you'll see. They seem to make the most sense that way.
Overall, I'd say I'm glad I went. The conference was quite good - one of the best conferences I've ever attended. And I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn a bit more about Korean history and culture - seeing things in person really helps one to connect the dots. I wish I'd had a Korean translator along with me to help me navigate the food options more effectively, but ah well. I can appreciate that Koreans seem to really enjoy eating good food, and that will have to suffice.
