Here and there

rebeccmeisterI have been obsessively listening to The Postal Service, and now of course have multiple songs stuck in my head. What fun.
I have a brief breather presently, before diving in for the rest of the afternoon/evening. This week was going to be the week when I took a break, but somehow or another I've managed to fill my schedule again already. I'm in the most exciting stage of research, when plans are at their peak because nobody's gone out to try and collect any data yet. But there's a lot of possibility in the projects we're going to try and do this summer, and that's fun. It even looks like there's a trip to Missoula, MT, in my future. And then a lot of crazy stuff in early July and late July/early August.
But before all of that starts, I'm off to Sacramento for a rowing weekend. Yeesh. This is getting to be a bit expensive...
Hopefully all of the fun projects will make up for the fact that all of my favorite people will be out of town (or are out of town already, or were never in town to begin with). /:
