Well, then.

It's Wednesday. I have finished my morning latte (well-made, thankyouverymuch, with a nice design in the foam). I shall now buckle down and get some work done before lunch. If I get enough done, life will be good. If I don't, well, it's going to be a busy weekend.

Y'know what's frustrating? Being broke. Fortunately, I don't have any huge rowing trips planned for the near future, so I should be able to slowly eke my way towards less broke-ness, and then eventually towards saving up for a new computer. Not that I don't like Roger2, my current 'puter. It's just that Roger2 only runs Windows 98 and only the flash drives that come with their own software. Roger2 is also getting to be a bit on the fragile side, after surviving Costa Rica--the screen is developing a nice crack. I need to save up for something with a wee bit more memory so I can install more data analysis programs and transfer files more easily. Oh, and, of course, store more photographs. (: It's gonna take a while, though. But all worthwhile endeavours take time and energy, don't they?

Being broke does indeed suck. But you've certainly got cool stuff to show for it! You've had a couple of wonderful rowing weekends where you got out and saw places and did stuff. And now you've got a break where you can recuperate, physically and financially.

I don't suppose I can badger you into a more comprehensive summary of your last weekend, can I? (:

Heh heh heh...maybe sometime soon. There weren't as many adventures this time, which was fine by me. (:
