I have begun reading another book by Elaine Scarry, entitled On Beauty and Being Just. It's a gorgeous book, and will be a fairly quick read.

E came home today, which is nice for Action Cat. She was pretty bored all by herself, but now Beaker and Honeydew are back to keep her occupied. Today Action Cat had knocked a small block of cheese onto the floor and was about to have her way with it when I walked in. Naughty, naughty Action Cat.

I think it's funny to see that "Action Cat," has stuck, as a nickname. I'm not sure whether to be pleased, proud, perplexed, or plaid. Especially when I remember that it all stems from my musings that the M on her forehead reminded me of "dial M for Monkey" from Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network. Of course the notion of little kitty stuck in a small purple spandex super-suit inspired by that cartoon... well, that's damned funny.
