Secret Office

Yesterday I kind of randomly remembered that my advisor has a secret office that she has made available to us, her intrepid grad students. Aside from being a bit chilly, it's nice. There's a chair and a light and a desk. When I REALLY need to get stuff done, I find such distraction-free environments really helpful. I may just move in. There's even room for a comfy chair in here!

Now I just need to turn off the internets so I can really get stuff done. Today's task: grading 42 lab reports. I've finished 7; only 35 to go. It's going to be a long day.

I can hardly believe I hadn't taken advantage of it earlier, or that I pretty much forgot it existed! It's probably on par with your tissue culture room. :-)
