Not again.
Oct. 23rd, 2007 08:13 amWell, I need to go pants shopping. One pair of jeans isn't going to cut it as it starts to get colder. This time around, though, I don't think I can afford such expensive clothing. So. For those in the area, do you have any particular recommendations for thrift stores with a reasonable pants selection? Or do you have any desire to go thrift-store shopping? I'd go to Buffalo Exchange, but the last time I went there I made some decisions I promptly regretted. Their prices are just slightly above what I'd like to pay.
Keep in mind that I REALLY hate pants shopping. I can probably get into it once I've gotten somewhere, but I always find it frustrating to try and find clothes that fit. Stupid pants.

Date: 2007-10-24 04:12 am (UTC)I can imagine that BR would have a pretty strict dress code since they're a fashion/clothing retailer--it's hard to promote that image unless one is dressed accordingly.
Hrm, coordinating shopping schedules could get tricky. Let me know what days/times would work for you--my best days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays after 5 or else on weekends, except this weekend is officially Not Good. Maybe the following Saturday, though...

Date: 2007-10-24 06:02 am (UTC)i can dress any way i want at the studio... my boss walks around with his shoes off half the time.
it's a weird contrast.
i'm free this thursday evening if you're game... i usually just go to Buffalo, but I'm interested in checking out other thrift stores too if you get any good recommendations.
