Lights at the corners of my eyes (Day 75)
Oct. 14th, 2007 08:29 pmThere is one remnant from my illness that I take as a reminder to continue to be respectful of the boundaries of my health: if I am too tired, I see small, rolling lights along the edges of my vision, as if a flashing marble of light were rolling from the upper, outer corner of my eye to the lower center edge. Usually this only happens in one eye at a time.
It seems like these spots are tied to fatigue, although I can't be sure. I've seen stars before, and these aren't like seeing stars. I've come close to blacking out, and this isn't the same as that, either (it has been a while, but that's more like vanishing down a tunnel). Whenever my vision plays tricks on me, it always makes me want to question this reality I know.
