I think I like to make chivalrous door-holding as awkward as possible. Not intentionally, mind you. I just do--with pretty much equal frequency, I'll: let someone hold a door for me, attempt to hold doors for other people, or fail to participate in the courtesy known as door-holding.
Maybe there's some deeper symbolic meaning to all this.

I'll try to go through a door that opens away from me, and some moron will be on the other side, and will try to hold the door open for me, but sometimes they don't move the fuck out of the way! lol.
