Emma update: still hanging on

She's eating more, although it's still not really enough.

I think she's fairly content with her current household arrangement. She seems to be mostly sleeping in her heated box during the day, with occasional breaks to nap on the wool blanket on the bed. She has been snuggling with me at night.

So it's increasingly looking like her major recent complaint was another urinary tract infection run amok. I can't imagine her kidney function magically improving, though, so this is still a decline, just one with a slightly shallower slope.

I'll take whatever precious amount of time I can get, these days.
