annikusrex once described her thinking/vocalizing process as follows: thoughts bubble in her mind, like a stew, and every once and a while a bubble rises to the surface and bursts open and she speaks. I'm not sure if that does justice to the original description, but it works well enough. It's a different sort of stewing than the traditional use of the word.
