Emma memory [cats]
Nov. 28th, 2021 05:45 pmWhen I was living by myself in Lincoln, NE, I would come home from a long day of work and there was Emma, waiting for me. At the time I didn't have the energy to do much in the evenings besides sit in a chair and read a book or browse the web. Emma would always keep me company, on this stool right next to me if my lap was too busy. Sometimes she would get in a goofy mood, illustrating how much animal facial expressions can vary. This is one of my favorite photos because it shows her in full goofball mode, ready to attack. She was almost never this relaxed when there were other people around.
