Double-Poke update
Nov. 5th, 2021 01:45 pmDefinitely feeling SOMETHING now, so I guess that's good because it means my immune system's getting primed against either the flu, the 'itis*, or both. I did not feel like this with the previous flu shot or prior two 'itis shots, so that's interesting.

Date: 2021-11-05 07:17 pm (UTC)I am bemused to report that this year's flu shot is the least noticeable flu shot I can recall; I usually get at least a bit of the flu-like bone ache, and this year is nigh-nothing. About an hour of sore arm.

Date: 2021-11-07 02:43 pm (UTC)Been getting flu shots since... 2002? 2001? Somewhere in there. Had bad flu at 30 and I do not want to do that again.
(I know it's a vain hope, but if general COVID precautions really do make the flu extinct that would be splendid.)

Date: 2021-11-05 08:55 pm (UTC)Given the sort of people who seem to be inflamed by the need to get vaccinated, "hemorroids" might be a more appropriate name. ;)
