I didn't know that was the term for it. I experience this most in the project that has agendas for meetings that are scheduled to plan agendas for other meetings, and then multiple emails about those agendas. Or Doodle polls for hour increments over four weeks at a time.

And there's the one of my current project managers who wants to have a meeting for everything when email would be perfectly fine. Not that either are less time-consuming, but meetings require synchrony and interruptions and those demands get really frustrating. But I have a hard time pushing back.

This is also another reason my goal in life is to not be a manager.
