Quaint & Scenic Hudson Valley
Aug. 4th, 2021 10:20 pmI-90 in New York basically had no highway construction on it, at all, at least relative to all of the highway construction we encountered everywhere else along I-80.
After driving through Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana, I'm inclined to agree that New York has a certain beauty and majesty to it. Very different character from the western US, but charming.
The house didn't burn down. The garden is gloriously overgrown with weeds and whatnot. There may be 1-2 plants in there. The house does have a certain sharp, spicy smell to it.
Emma seems relieved to be back in a familiar environment. I know I am.
Tomorrow: dealing with 8 million emails, groceries, ants, etc.
