Clearing out some tabs here.

The NYT had an article recently on climate migration:

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/09/15/magazine/climate-crisis-migration-america.html

It cites a 2018 study predicting continued migration towards California, the Mountain West, and Northwest.

Maps developed from a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences last spring suggest why this might not work so well for people. (Maybe this is just my opinion, but you have to look at how narrow the habitable regions are, and how they're shifting into the mountains in California).

But I suspect that's where people will head anyway.

Meanwhile, the upper Midwest is looking pretty attractive.

Yeah, I read that same article. Seattle's lovely but the summers of wildfire and what that does to my lungs has had me thinking about whether I need to be somewhere else every summer, and home the rest of the year. Ugh.
