After 6 months of basically no physical contact with other human beings aside from the occasional elbow bump or unavoidable handshake, it's different and nice to be inhabiting the same space with scrottie again.

Over the weekend, he bought groceries, dealt with laundry because the washing machine is broken, and cooked and cooked and cooked some more. It felt like such a relief to eat food prepared by somebody else.

It's not that I mind cooking, it's just that when it's only me and I am pressed for time, cooking becomes very utilitarian.

I actually took some small breaks instead of just doomscrolling this weekend.

I still have too much work to do.

I am pretty sure that scrottie retains at least some small sense of dismay over the fact that New York remains full of New Yorkers. I think I need to get him up to Vermont to see that there are some people who are at least a little more chill in this part of the country!
