Small victories
Mar. 5th, 2018 08:21 pmI am going to give credit where it's due. Yesterday,
scrottie convinced me to apply a marine-grade sealant to the toilet valve. It needed to cure for at least 7 hours, so we did our fair share of bucket flushes, oh joy. This evening, I reattached the water inlet to the toilet, turned it on, and gave it a flush.
It still leaked.
Then I did more reading on the internet, including this page. Here's how you're supposed to diagnose a leaking toilet:
