Even in Kyoto

I'm having flashbacks to that frantic first week of summer, trying to get every imaginable loose end wrapped up before leaving for Arizona. Almost a miniature version of what it's like to try and pack up one's life to move across the country.

This time, I probably won't manage to vacuum the floors or clean the bathroom sink before I leave. I'll do the best I can for the plants. Airplane departure times are less forgiving than motor vehicle departure times.

I did manage to give the younger leafcutter ant colonies a housing upgrade. Some of them really needed it.

I want to be a minimalist traveler who has every imaginable book and art supply at the ready.
