Signs that I'm completely losing it...

Last night, as I crawled into bed, one of my last thoughts was, "I-N," or "Inactive in the Nest." That is how I denote ants that are sitting inside of the nest container, immobile.

It's not good to be codifying one's own behavior with the same system.

Halfway through the day today. I can't wait to be finished, but at the same time, it's a struggle to get through every round of observations.

Oh, but "inactive in nest" is just about the cutest way to think about the act of going to sleep.

yes, that is adorable. i've had a touch of insomnia lately, and i think i shall try out an "inactive in the nest" mantra to combat it.
