Just use your imagination.

If I had a functional camera/etc, today I would show you photographs of:
-the blooming flowers in the yard (the lily-type thing has a gorgeous red flower!)
-homemade crumpets
-banana cake (maybe)
The grocery store where I used to buy crumpets appears to have ceased carrying them. And at the same time, it's cheaper and healthier to make them from scratch, using whole wheat flour. It just takes more time. They never look as pretty, but they're quite satisfying.
Right now, our back yard is dotted with all sorts of volunteer Mexican sunflower plants. They are so nice and cheerful. I wish I had more time for gardening right now.
I picked up a loaner laptop this morning. It's the same model of computer as Ruby was (my stolen laptop), which is a little eerie. Now I have to go through that mental headache of deciding how much time/energy to invest into putting stuff on it. My inclination is to not do very much to it.
And now, to work.
