So, I have to tell you about the last two days. Since I last wrote, I have been, well, grading. Pretty much nonstop every time I've had a moment to spare. That included skipping rowing yesterday but still getting up to grade. I did allow myself a bit of structured fun: my advisor's birthday was on Sunday, so we spent about 45 minutes celebrating yesterday. I also decided to go to the first wrenching class over at the Bike Saviours (that's to learn enough to help out other people with their bikes). Then I graded until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer (eh, 11 pm).

I got up at 4:13 this morning to continue grading (note that 5 hours is generally not a sufficient quantity of sleep for me), paused for a bit of breakfast, and kept at it pretty much right until the start of my first lab at 7:40.

But I finished before lab began. All that really matters is that I maintain the illusion that I'm on top of things with regards to lab. Hopefully my students will never realize the abysmal extent of my own procrastination.

And I have to say, I'm a tiny bit proud of myself for finishing, and a tiny bit prouder that I managed to not come unglued while teaching all day today. If that makes any sense whatsoever.

Now I'm hoping to get a head start on this week's grading so I won't have to stress out about it while my mom is in town. We shall see...
