Parking Lagoon Review: Tempe Marketplace
Mar. 3rd, 2008 05:57 pmOnce upon a time, some Developers out to make a hefty pile of cash in a hurry decided to build a mall. But then they decided it would be no ordinary mall. Nor would it be an ordinary strip-mall. Instead, it would be what would happen if you were to take a mall and a strip-mall and then turn them inside-out. And SUPERSIZE it, 'cause nothings any good unless it's HUGE. That's right, they put the parking lagoon in the center of a giant coliseum ringed with chain stores. Then they piped in some of the most hideous music you've ever heard in your life. And they pretended it was a good idea.
This will be a short review. Needless to say, I hope I never, ever go back.
I hate malls. Strip malls I'll put up with because I have no other choice, and at least the parking lagoons are smaller and more easily traversed (though they are still LAME TIMES A HUNDRED). But malls? Hmm. Yeah.
