Today, part 1, Complete

Well, I'm back from the learn-to-row event on the lake. It was pretty fun until it started getting REALLY hot. It's not supposed to be close to a hundred in MARCH. April, maybe. March, no. I still need a few weeks to resign myself to the inevitable. We've gone straight from winter to summer around here. Fortunately, it's still cooling off at night.

I'm glad I accidentally wore a green shirt today. There aren't any cars in the driveway at the moment, so I keep watching people ride by on bicycles, wearing green shirts and on their way to nearby Irish bars to drink the afternoon away. The people-watching from the garage is pretty good--I can see why my cat enjoys it so much. E and I will be going in the opposite direction shortly, on our way to the grocery store. I'm going to be introducing her to the bike ride down to Whole Foods, which is pretty damn nice.

it was good meeting you! you go rock climbing occassionally too, right? we should hang out some time, i don't know many people in tempe (i am a hermit).

Hey, I'm a hermit, too! I forgot to say that it was really nice to meet you as well--you're the first Arizona LJ person that I have met on LJ and then IRL (previously I'd only met people in Seattle that way). We should definitely hang out sometime. I haven't been doing as much climbing recently, but I could be convinced to go... :) I usually end up being pretty busy during the week, but have more time on weekends and over the summer.
