When "shopping" is fun.

On Saturday, I went to Goodwill and got 2 cutting boards, a colander, a bread pan, an upright shredder, and three custard dishes, all for $4.92. I'm definitely going back for silverware. This particular Goodwill appeared to be a tad on the crowded side (i.e. stuff was probably picked through), but I just found another one that's closer to home to poke through as well. That should give me a good idea of what things will be more challenging to find.
Today, a grad student sent out an e-mail for a free toaster oven. I now own a toaster oven.
I'm enjoying this process--I'm not in a serious hurry to accumulate stuff, but I have a list of things I want/need to acquire, so I have the time to wait for good bargains to materialize or to hunt things down.
Of course, as time goes on and the list shortens, I have a feeling that the remaining items are going to be harder and harder to find...
