Last night I watched a fun chick flick with C and E. We are going to repeat the event because it was awesome. Yay for being girly girls!
Today, I need to feed the ants, eat some lunch, perhaps have a wee bit more caffeine, and pack my bags for a camping trip! Woohoo!
Until next time,
R

There's no real industry standard for ant food, because there are so many different species of ants, each of which eats something slightly different.

Date: 2006-06-12 04:43 pm (UTC)I'd bet that the carpenter ants would enjoy sugar in any form, and especially maple syrup form. Good to know you don't own the place--carpenter ants can be a real pain. I moved into a house one year that had a pretty bad ant problem. They weren't carpenter ants, but they definitely enjoyed foraging in our kitchen. I found that meticulous cleaning took care of the problem. Ants and other insects are quite good at finding little spills and such.
