As with any sport, rowers like their kit. The San Diego Crew Classic is one of the big places to get rowing gear, and along with everybody else, I shelled out a fair bit of money to show my rowing pride. But I have learned to avoid buying t-shirts at regattas; I still occasionally wear t-shirts that I bought way back in high school. Nonetheless, there are always a couple that stand out, so this time I took pictures of them. Several of them are quite pertinent.

This one made me think of
popcultureicon for some odd reason...

The back of this shirt has a calendar on it, and every day is marked off with rowing.

South Park meets rowing. I also liked one with the caption, "Oh my God! They made him erg!" Kenney's dead by an ergometer (indoor rowing machine).

Do I really need to explain this one? I came so close to buying it, but then remembered that I already own plenty of white t-shirts. But I DON'T own any t-shirts that are this explicit. I've had my eye on this one for a couple of years. It's a good reminder that I'm not the only one who has to deal with other people who are on completely different schedules and inconsiderate.
