Well, we're staying at a place with flaky internet, so hopefully this will post properly. The main update: there's supposedly a website that will be streaming video from the races today at jamcotimes.com. I'll be racing at 1:20 today, and will hopefully make it to the finals tomorrow, although we just learned that there's a boatload of Olympic rowers in the lane next to us...Besides all that, it's nice to be in San Diego, away from the chaos in Tempe for a while.

Well, I happened to be reading your post at 1:33 p.m., so I quickly went to jamcotimes and started watching the race in progress, wondering if I was watching you. The camera panned over the two leading teams, but I didn't see you. After the race ended I checked the start, when I discovered a different race started at 1:30, so I guess I didn't get to watch you after all. :-(

So close, huh, Dad? Oh well. :) I hope that you enjoyed seeing the racing that you did get to watch! You'll note in my most recent post that we had a wonderful race.
