Limbo [status]
Jan. 3rd, 2023 10:43 amA new and different form of limbo. I was supposed to fly from MSP to AUS at 9 am this morning, but once again an airline named after a sunny, arid region of the country went and canceled on me and rebooked for tomorrow morning.
Perhaps it was foolhardy, but I rebooked to a patriotic airline with a scheduled departure at around noon. There is a very colorful blotch of weather currently hovering directly over Minneapolis, so my chances of actually escaping are dubious.
There's a bit more riding on this departure; two of my undergrad research students are scheduled to arrive in Texas at 1 pm today for an academic conference.
It will be very nice to return to the life where my major transportation hassles have to do with the condition of my bicycles.
