Dear lazywebs, [rowing]
May. 9th, 2021 10:33 amDo any of you know anything about the recommended care and feeding of galvanized hardware that gets routinely exposed to saltwater?
...Come to think of it, I should put together some notes for stainless hardware, too.
Most of the hardware for our rowing docks is galvanized, while most of the hardware on rowing shells is stainless.
I only recently learned that galvanized is stronger than stainless.
Related to that, somehow recently I keep on finding myself browsing pages in industrial supply catalogues lately. This is due to both ordering stuff for research purposes and ordering stuff for rowing purposes. Good times.
