I'd love to take a while to tell you all about the adventures of the past week or so, but of course there just isn't much space or time just now, for we are in-between my immediate family's celebration and our family's day-after-Christmas tradition of going bowling to celebrate my aunt L's birthday. And after that, we'll go out to Enumclaw to visit my grandpa and have birthday cake, and after that, we'll go cross-country skiing for a day. Lots of adventures out and about, less time in front of the computer. All for the best for now.

Wonderful adventures, all. I want to gush about the wonderful, beautiful, fun train trip from Minneapolis to Seattle as well, and about the wonderful visits and parties and adventures in Minneapolis. Or, you know, at least post some photos and reflect on the conversations S and I have been lucky to have with our families.

This year feels so different from last year, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
