Gearing Up
Sep. 25th, 2009 04:38 pmIn a week and a half, K and I will fly to Sydney, Australia, for the World Masters Rowing Championships. [Aside: hopefully there won't be any freakish dust problems while we're there, or we won't be doing much rowing]
Today, I am trying to map out what will happen between now and then. I have teaching responsibilities to attend to (lo, the grading!), and four projects that need to reach a state where I can send them to other people before I go. Plus, there are the fun projects of attending to the chicken coop and garden, riding my bicycle, spending time with
scrottie, and working on various ceramics projects. [Aside number two: I just wish I could fit all of these fun things in my luggage for Australia, but I have a feeling they wouldn't appreciate the manure heap at Customs].
It's a lot to think about. But in many ways, I'm more productive when time is short. And one way or another, life will go on.
