Last night, the air cooled off enough for me to sleep with the window open all night, and the temperature hovered in the chilly lower 70's this morning. The daily highs are slowly drifting down below 100 degrees.
It's no crisp New England fall weather, nor cool, damp, cloudy Northwest, but it's at least some small relief. Perhaps there will be an end to the bleak heat.
