Farewell, vestiges of obscurity
Jun. 30th, 2007 10:44 amI think I am about to give in to pressure to join the miasmal world of Facebook.
*quickly tries to neatly stack-o-fy piles of internets in corners to give the semblance of tidy internet presence*
This means that undergraduates will be able to find me, as they found D. This also means that old college and high school pals will be able to find me. I'm not sure I'm ready for the half-assedness of the whole deal (seriously, if we aren't already somehow in touch, what will we do or say now that will change our lives or the world?). We shall see. I'll go at it with the goal of having a small and meek presence. Yeah, right.
I've learned to trust my feelings of ambivalence about these sorts of things. I feel quite differently about this blog; it is a cultivated presence.
eta: Oh brother. It's irksomely over-widgeted. You can probably find me there now, but I'm just about done with the business already.
