It was too foggy this morning to row, so we erged instead. A perfectly good and satisfying workout.

When I got ready to leave, the fog was just so beautiful I had to stop and take photos.

Then I had a thought. Today is the last day of the Sustainable Commute Bet with my colleagues. One of the ways to earn bonus points is to commute in costume today. I ran out of time and energy to make a new costume, so I just put on the bikeable parts of the chicken costume this morning.

If I'd had more time/etc I would have done a more involved photo series, without the bike, with the full chicken costume. Because, why not?

But I was cold, so after a couple quick photos I wrapped up and took the longer bike path route to work.

I love the fog.

A grand total of one car honked at me, but I did also pass by a father walking his kids to school who exclaimed in delight upon seeing me biking up a hill. That counts for something.

By now I don't expect anybody else to actually dress up in costume here.

Their loss.

I *am* going to follow through on my next costume idea. I guess at least I have some time before next Halloween at this point.
