So today I will tell another story of yesterday. I dine Al Desko more often than I'd care to admit. Yesterday I had a problem opening up a new little jar of jam/sauce to put on my toast:


So yes, I did literally jam my keyboard, and of course I instantly thought of the movie quote in the subject line. The space bar was sticky, so I've since taken it off to give things a more thorough cleaning.

Computer keyboards are disgusting.

Back to grading now that I can use the external keyboard again.

I use a laptop keyboard cover for my work computer (often finding I have to bring my laptop into the lab and use it with gloves on, ick, so I need to clean it aggressively) and the *underside* of the cover somehow accumulates a layer of oils and gunk in no time at all. It's horrifying.
