It occurs to me that a couple of you might have excellent Expert Opinions on good field first aid kits. This trip made me realize that I should have one. (haven't needed to use one, but can see the benefits!) I should be getting up-to-date on basic first aid and CPR shortly, but I don't have more extensive training beyond that.

I find the "Mountain Guide" prepack kits the local outdoor store sells quite decent, but then again I'm not skilled and I expect nicks, ticks, and blisters with a possible side of edge tool errors.
