Well, *that* was exhausting

rebeccmeisterDue to this, that, and the other thing, I basically just led a full-day research orientation for my four research students who will be staying here to do research this summer. I *tried* to make it two half-days, but that just didn't happen.
I am sure there are going to be adventures and mishaps.
But on the other hand, this is a good group of students and they're going to learn a ton and have some fun on the way. It's not ideal to do things this way, but it means a lot to everyone.
And in some ways it's going to be really good for me because it's forcing me to transfer over the cricket care tasks for a while.
Also, I got to feed them delicious cake and tell them a handful of ridiculous stories.
