Trying to not check out yet [teaching]

I am trying really hard to not just completely check out on teaching yet. Slightly over 1 week left. Vexingly, here's next week's schedule for Animal Physiology:

Class MWF - last class of the semester on Friday.
Final exam 8:30 am Saturday morning.

So Friday is basically useless as a teaching and learning day.

I have to map out my endgame this weekend.

We still have 1 more lab to complete next week on Tuesday.

I vehemently hope that I never, ever, EVER have to teach a compressed semester again.

The icing on the cake is that the administration sent out a Faculty Satisfaction Survey this week.

Oh I did. It will be interesting to look at the year-over-year data.

How so? Somewhat naively, I'd expect "worse year on record/complete mess for all involved" to be the overwhelming result. Do you think there's something more to it? (I'm actually pretty curious, since I'm prett far from the situation.)

The survey covers a range of different categories, so the question will be "which categories are worse, specifically?"
