And so it is February
Feb. 2nd, 2021 11:03 amNikki McClure is on Instagram, so yesterday she reminded me to turn over the calendar page:

Gorgeous and also hilarious when you consider all the snow that fell last night. I skedaddled out of work early yesterday, just to be on the safe side, and had an absolutely wonderful commute home as the flakes fell. The roads were still clear and it was so much warmer than it had been the last couple of days.
I don't know about you, but at work I spend a lot of time looking out the window, so I find it very pleasing to have a nice group of plants on the windowsill.

Other colleagues who have plants in their windowsill have much less eclectic collections. I just can't help myself.
Woke up with a sinus headache this morning, so I skipped rowing practice.
Time to write.
Now that it's February, the start of the spring semester is looming large. February 22. I mostly just want to hide under the covers.
