This and that

rebeccmeisterIt was so warm today that I turned the heat off and opened up the house for a while. Nice to get some fresh air in here!

Miss Emma ran out of her Beefy Wheat Germ cat food this past week and all that was left was some cans of Savory Seafood, which contain some chicken. She reluctantly ate some, then it came back up again (to put it politely), and she refused to touch it while making a very specific sort of complaining "Meow."
The rabbit dried food was also not appealing, but of course she readily lapped up a bunch of cream.
The grocery store was completely out of Beefy Wheat Germ, too. We got 3 other things to try out, and so far it looks like she's okay with the lamb/turkey stuff.

I madescrottie try a whoopie pie today. He did not approve. I have to admit, I don't fully understand them, either.

I happened to walk past a different liquor store last night, so I popped in as part of an ongoing mission to find decent kirschwasser (that Hiram Walker stuff should be banned). They didn't have kirschwasser but they did have the Luxardo II Maraschino Cherry Liqueur. That stuff is SWEET and tastes like rose water! I will be able to find plenty of uses for it.
