Grade all night, work all day

The rest of the weekend was all grading. Ugh.

The worst part of that is starting out the week already feeling cognitively exhausted.

...that's probably exactly how my students feel, too, this time of the semester!

I will do my best to exercise compassion.

I will say, as a student we are exhausted!! And Thanksgiving is so late this year (three weeks before finals!!) that there’s no respite to be had!

Yes! We must all try to pace ourselves and not overdo it. I'll remind everyone that we all still need to get rest and set boundaries.

I'm sure your students wouldn't mind fewer things to be graded. :)

Hah! Well, yes and no. They would love it if I gave them all A's, too. But that isn't going to happen.
