scrottie and I are about to ride over the river and through the woods, to grandpa's house Enumclaw for an extended Danish Family Christmas party. I'll also finally get to see the old Weston Family house, which my uncle D and aunt D bought a year or two ago. It will feel weird to not go and hang out in Grandpa's barn anymore.
So, yeah. Offline until tomorrow at the earliest.
The train trip was quite pleasant. I worked my way through a stack of the random magazines that get sent to me as a result of being a rower, randonneusse, and high school and college alumnus. S beat me at Scrabble while on the train. I beat him at Scrabble while we waited prior to boarding the train in Emeryville for 2 extra hours, while sitting in a bar that was playing Bob Ross and drinking some divine eggnog.
I am California-soft. A good morning of bicycling in cool weather with a risk of snow should help.
