-Write about the weekend's 600k (first half tailwind, second half headwind, omg I need to dial in my bike fit again, Nebraska countryside was gorgeous again)

-Get geared up for more cricket-poking and sample processing. It's going to be another insanely busy month. This is going to occupy the bulk of my time, by far.

-Keep house reasonably clean, pare down possessions. Renting a room in the Bay Area costs several hundred dollars a month more than renting a 2-bedroom apartment in Lincoln or a 2-bedroom dump-house in Bryan.

-Work on upper-body strength and transition over to more rowing-related activities; figure out regatta schedule for 2016. My right shoulder keeps declaring its unhappiness about those early days of rowing starboard-only.

-Evaluate my various crafty projects, prioritize, and engage.

-Get finances in order again.

What changes about your bike positioning over time, requiring a refit? Do you know? Can you quantify what's going on if you can't say exactly what's happened?
I'm curious because I feel like something has changed about my position, when I'm sure the bike/seat/bar geometry hasn't changed at all.

Yes, I definitely know, but I can't quantify the changes by myself. Basically, after the 300k this spring, my seat bolt loosened and my seat slipped. After that, seat position hasn't been right, and that was compounded by failing to mark the correct seat post height and fore/aft position when I went off to Europe. I have also switched cleats and pedals. The differences are minor, but I am noticing too much low-back discomfort after riding >80 miles, and I also want to talk to someone about my standing position. I may also just change saddles entirely at this point - it could be that my body has changed to a point where it's time for something firmer.

I could have saved myself a good portion of this headache if I had just gone ahead and marked positions for everything after the last bike fit. Things are finicky to a point where I can't quite tell when I am on the bike whether I am in just the right spot or not.

Makes sense. I've tried marking but the marks don't always last. I also take fairly high resolution pictures of the bikes side-by-side. It helps that the two bikes are similar enough in geometry that I can use one as a template. But that doesn't fix saddle variation over time, or as you say cleat/pedal changes.
