Saturday projects

'twas a busy one. Got up, did laundry, erged, rode over to the farmer's market early to get eggs (success!), breakfasted, headed to the lab to film crickets, grocery-shopped, headed back to the lab to film some more, craft item-shopped*, then crafting with my friend T. Some days are good days for high-ambition crafts, but this was not one of those days.
Today, more of the same, except once again my body declared that I would be sleeping in, so erging will have to happen this evening.
*I despise big-box sewing/craft shops. They're soul-sucking, but that's all this small town has got. Makes me miss the U Bookstore in Seattle, and the Paper Studio in Tempe (which had to shut down after some awful person burglarized them), and more. The thing that frustrates me the most is the big-box shops tend to focus on cheap, crappy craft sets instead of on basic supplies. I just wanted some damn craft paper.
