Crunching numbers

I am in data analysis mode.
It makes me grateful for R all over again, every time. So much of data analysis is iterative that it's nice to be able to structure everything, then make minor modifications, then run the analysis again. And have a nicely commented set of files to refer back to when necessary.
My current workflow involves maintaining R syntax files; data files; images; a text file with notes, to-do lists, and a list of references; and a word-processing document (ideally in Pages, though eventually in Word, bleah).
Seems to be working adequately well for the sake of getting from data collection to publication.
