rebeccmeisterI took some photos of the garden yesterday morning, but I forgot to bring my camera with me today. Maybe I'll have a bit of time to post them after the evening's crew meeting.
I've started reading The Yiddish Policeman's Union, by Michael Chabon. Enjoyable, so far, with rich language. I should read more fiction.
Yesterday, in the middle of my scheduled writing time, a great lassitude overcame me and I had to put my head down on the desk to sleep. I'd consider the drool puddle a testament to the fact that I needed the sleep. I kept working past the end of the scheduled time, to make up for the much-needed 20-minute nap.
I'm definitely going to start one of those writing-tracking spreadsheets for myself. A task for today's writing session.
If I keep up this sewing habit, I want to find sources of organic fabric. The cotton-growing industry is just so toxic I don't want to be part of it. So, organic, or used, I suppose. Suggestions are welcome. I've never been able to find a good source of either linen or hemp fabrics, which I love. I have a dress pattern that would work well with linen, methinks.
