Even in Kyoto

Dad, it always makes me happy to hear about how the Chilly Hilly goes for you because I still miss going on that ride and it sure was the ride that got me started. :-) I'm pretty grateful that our rain wasn't right around the freezing mark - there are stories about a 400k brevet from about 8 years ago where there was more of a wintry mix with snow (but perhaps less wind?). It sounded pretty terrible. It's one thing to be cold during a short ride, but when exhaustion is added on top, things can become dangerous very quickly!

Altogether, we're all relieved to be finished and resting.
