To and fro [status]
Mar. 6th, 2025 07:21 pmToday, I drove to work. But first, I reassembled the bike hitch rack and loaded Old Faithful, the Jolly Roger, and the Green Bianchi onto the rear rack.
Then I drove to the boathouse and loaded up the entire stack of dirty foam "puzzle pieces" floor pieces.
Then I drove to campus and dropped off all three bikes.
I spent around 2 hours scrubbing and washing down the puzzle pieces. I have some photos but will have to wait until tomorrow before posting them.
Then I loaded up 2 bikes that I've had in my lab space, that are of no use to me.
Then I drove to the hardware store for a few things.
Then I drove to the fish store for a few things.
Then, back to campus. I loaded the puzzle pieces back up, and drove over to the boathouse. I helped our partner club get some of our club's boats and some of their club's boats moved to new places, and gave them access to some of our club's shipping container space to store their riggers. I put the freshly cleaned puzzle pieces into a different one of the shipping containers.
Then I drove to the Albany Bike Rescue. I dropped off the 2 unwanted bikes, and loaded up 2 bikes that will work better for my bicycling students.
I drove back to campus, and dropped of the last 2 bikes. My lab is very full of bicycles now.
Then I drove home.
I am so glad that I do not usually drive to work. I am really looking forward to riding my bike tomorrow, as usual.
I did manage to get some lab reports graded today, but I still have some left. Also, midterm exams and another writing assignment.
Tomorrow will be mostly devoted to grading papers again.
