High-speed, low-budget update [travel]

We made it to Hawaii!

Most immediate updates will be in the form of photos posted to flickr.

I am not completely finished with grading, so that needs to get tackled ASAP. A good use for the jet lag hours.

Upon arrival, we ate delicious Thai food at a street truck, got some groceries, checked into our amazing holiday rental, found the closest beach, got to watch sea turtles land to lay their eggs, observed a sleeping Hawaiian monk seal, ate stir-fry, played hide-and-go-seek, and went to bed at an exceptionally early hour. Oh, and drank some delicious Hawaiian rum.

Oh, also, the beverage du jour here, we've decided, is passionfruit-orange-guava juice, aka POG.

No sunburns...yet.

Better get that work done so it isn't hanging over my head...
